This version of an Irish-whiskey sour is perfect for elevated St. Patrick’s Day gatherings. We used our Honey Ginger White Balsamic to add a touch of honeyed sweetness and gingered aromatics to the cocktail base. The edible gold flakes add a fun touch of whimsy and wow-factor to this creamy-tart drink.
Makes 1 cocktail
Ingredients:
1 ounce Irish whiskey
1/2 ounce Honey Ginger White Balsamic
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce simple syrup
1 egg white
Edible gold flakes, for garnish
Instructions
Fill a shaker with ice and add the whiskey, balsamic, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white. Vigorously shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish either the foam or rim of the glass with edible gold flakes.
