Agave & Chamomile Margarita

Reposados are known for being excellent margarita tequilas. They tend to spend a few months aging in oak barrels, developing a smoothness along with some imparted baking-spice flavors. These qualities make reposado a well-matched option for this Agave & Chamomile Margarita. Our Chamomile Agrodolce is a specialty, vinegar-based, ingredient that is perfect for cocktail crafting. The name ‘agrodolce’ comes from “agro” (sour) and “dolce” (sweet) and is made by reducing vinegar and pure cane syrup with chamomile (a delicate, floral tea). 

Makes 1 cocktail 

Ingredients: 

1oz reposado tequila 

1oz Chamomile Agrodolce 

1oz agave 

1oz lime juice 

2oz lemon-lime soda 

Garnish: sugar rim, mint, chamomile flowers, and lime 

Instructions

Fill a large cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, agrodolce, agave, lime juice, and lemon-lime soda and vigorously shake to combine. Pour the margarita into a sugar rimmed glass and garnish with mint, chamomile flowers, and lime.
