This is a seriously authentically flavoured oil, which was utterly delicious as an accompaniment dip for my bourbon maple red onion and feta sourdough bread (yes, this infused bread was made with one of the balsamics). The smokiness was the perfect intense-level for me personally, and it brought my appetiser to a whole new level. One of your best!
Makes 1 cocktail
Ingredients:
1/2 ounce Irish whiskey
1/2 ounce Chocolate Dark Balsamic
2 ounces brewed espresso coffee
1/4-1/2 cup mint chocolate chip ice cream
Mint sprig, for garnish
Instructions
Pour whiskey, balsamic, and coffee into a martini or margarita glass. Top the coffee mixture with a hearty scoop of ice cream and garnish with fresh mint before serving.
