This is a seriously authentically flavoured oil, which was utterly delicious as an accompaniment dip for my bourbon maple red onion and feta sourdough bread (yes, this infused bread was made with one of the balsamics). The smokiness was the perfect intense-level for me personally, and it brought my appetiser to a whole new level. One of your best!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup each fresh blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and grapes cut in halves
1 cup of crème fraîche
2 tablespoons Shiitake Agrodolce
Fresh mint leaves, pine nuts for garnish
Instructions:
Place the crème fraîche on center of serving plates, add the fresh fruits and drizzle with Shiitake Agrodolce.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and pine nuts.
