Sweet and Spicy Jalapeño Ham
1 (6-8lbs.) bone-in pre-cooked ham (spiral cut ham is ok)
1 jar 12 Oaks Heavenly Jalapeno Jelly
2 tablespoons A-Premium Balsamico Bianco Vinegar
1 tsp. Maple & Spiced Pepper Rub
1 cup of water
fresh herbs, pineapple rings or citrus
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place ham in a foil-lined roasting pan and score the top in a diamond pattern (if using a spiral ham, no need for scoring).
In a medium saucepan whisk together jalapeño jelly, Maple & Pepper rub, white balsamic vinegar, and water until blended. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and cook for 5-6 minutes, creating a thin syrup. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Spoon a third (1/3) of the glaze onto the ham and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Continue to glaze the ham every 30 minutes or until the top is lightly caramelized and golden brown. Remove from the oven, platter and garnish with your favorite accompaniments.
