Rocky Road Dessert Pizza

Pizza Dough:

3/4 cup warm milk

2 1/2 tsp. dry active yeast

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

3 Tbs. Sweet Butter Infused Olive Oil

1 tsp. Season Premium Fleur de Sel

2 cups bread flour

1/2 cup Seasons Chocolate Infused Balsamic Vinegar

6oz cream cheese, cubed

12 each marshmallow, halved (or, 1 cup mini marshmallows)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

4 Tbs. caramel sauce

Place warm milk, yeast, sugar, egg, olive oil, and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, and beat until blended. Replace the whisk attachment with the dough hook, and add the flour. Stir on low until the dough is semi-formed and a little shaggy. Increase the mixer’s speed to medium-low and continue to knead the dough until smooth, a little sticky, and shiny (about 10 minutes). Remove the bowl and dough hook from the mixer and form the dough into a ball. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside to rise for 2 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size.

Meanwhile, place the chocolate balsamic in a small saucepan, and bring to a low simmer over medium heat. Simmer the balsamic for 5-8 minutes, carefully swirling the saucepan occasionally, until reduced by half and thickened (lightly coating the bottom of the saucepan), remove from the heat, and set aside.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Once the dough has rested and risen, divide it into 2 even portions. Working with one portion at a time, place on a lightly floured surface and roll (using a rolling pin) into a 12-14 inch circle. Transfer the rolled dough to a large parchment-lined baking sheet and, using a fork, dock (or poke) the pizza to reduce air bubbles. Top pizza crust with 3oz of cubed cream cheese, 6 marshmallows (halved), 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and 1/4 cup walnuts, leaving 1/2 inch of border around the edge.

Bake pizza for 12-15 minutes or until the crust and marshmallows are golden brown, remove from the oven, and set aside to rest for 2 minutes. Once the pizza has rested, portion into 6 slices and drizzle with reduced chocolate balsamic and caramel sauce.
